Seer Overview

Seer Overview

The Seer is both a Support Class and a Damage Class in the game. The class's role splits upon choosing one of its two paths: Reverent or Blasphemer. Reverent focuses on supporting allies with Rune Constructs or Divine Arts and your catalyst, while Blasphemer focuses on draining your enemies' health with Rune Enchantments Sigils with your Mace.

Pros
  • ✓Best Support Class in the game with the Reverent path
  • ✓Runes can stay to provide passive support
  • ✓Blasphemer path is good for beginners
  • ✓Reverent's healing spells can remove debuffs
Cons
  • ✗Can only choose one path before each run and can only prioritize one path
  • ✗Playing with a team is highly recommended with Reverent
  • ✗Blasphemer has long skill cooldowns

Seer Weapons

When selecting Seer, you will be required to choose between paths. The two paths then determine what weapons you will use:

The Reverent path relies on the Catalyst as its main weapon. It is a ranged weapon that fires constructs, runes, or uses Divine Arts to support allies. This is a weapon designed to support your team to the fullest.

Who should play Seer?

Who should play Seer

The Seer is a unique case of being both the hardest class to play and also the easiest depending on the path you choose.

Reverent Seer is the class to go to when needing support. Its skills are focused on debuffing and buffing the enemies and your allies respectively. Solo play is not impossible, but difficult to pull off. If you want to be the team white mage, then pick the Reverent Seer.

Blasphemer Seer is for the players who also want to play DPS. The path is straightforward to learn, making it a good choice for beginners, however a Mercenary may be easier to grasp. Still, choose Blasphemer Seer if you are looking for a unique way to attack enemies.

The Burst Rune leaves rune energy on the ground for a period of time. Enemies who come into contact with the rune energy will be marked by the rune.

After a delay, the mark will explode, dealing Magic Damage and inflicting stagger. Magic orbs passing through the Reverent's Burst Rune carry its energy, marking enemies they hit. Burst Rune is a Construct.
Binding RuneBinding Rune

Hold to aim and summon a Binding Rune at the target location. After a short delay, it establishes connections with all enemies within range.

Enemies connected by the Binding Rune are immobilized and cannot jump for a period when breaking free and leaving the area.

Each successful binding of a player restores Psionic Energy to the Reverent. Binding Rune is a Construct.

Skill Priority

The best skills for the Seer will depend on what path you wish to take. As a Reverent, the main priority is healing and sustaining the team through Healing Arts; being able to heal as soon as possible is also always good. With a support skill in place, keeping yourself alive with Wind Surge is recommended as it keeps enemies from coming close to you. If you want to practice with construct placing, though, Binding Rune is another good option for extra support.

For a Blasphemer, the goal is to sustain yourself with health-draining skills like Rune: Drain. The Rune Enchantments require you to be up close and personal with an enemy. If you need a quick getaway or a way to get close, Shapeshift is the way to go with its increased speed.

How to Play Seer

Playing as Seer will depend on which path of Seer you will take. While you can switch paths before each match, Talent Points are only spent on one path, so it is not possible to focus on both with one character.

How to Play Reverent

How to Play Reverent

Reverent is played by supporting teammates and keeping them alive. Many skills can also debuff enemies as much as they benefit the team. The Reverent does both by placing down constructs or being near allies for Area Targeting, which consumes Psionic Energy. Reverent needs good positioning and relies on your teammates to survive.

Take care of your Psionic Energy

The Reverent relies on Psionic Energy to cast their skills. They are rechargeable, and the Psionic Orb can accelerate the recharge. Always keep the resource in mind when casting spells.

Place your constructs carefully

If playing with the Reverent's Runes, they must be placed down in an area of your choosing. Be sure to lure enemies to your runes, or place them to your allies. The skill Rune Summon can move your runes to another place you desire in case you misfire.

Communicate with teammates

Chances are you are using Reverent as a support role. Since it requires positioning to support allies, communicate with your teammates about where you place Runes or when you are using healing to keep them alive.

Healing Arts and Psionic Shields have Limited Uses

Healing Arts and Psionic Shields are some of the most useful skills for a Reverent. However, they have two limitations. First, they cannot be used together in one loadout. Second, they have limited uses per match. Use them wisely.

How to Play Blasphemer

How to Play Blasphemer

Unlike the Reverent, Blasphemer is a damage role that utilizes Curse Mana to use their skills. The main way they hurt enemies is through draining their HP and restoring their own. Runes in the Blasphemer's case are enchantments to their mace and so they do not need to be placed down. The class is often seen as easy to understand for players.

Fight Close Quarters

Blasphemer is a melee class and, as such, getting close is the way to go. There are ranged options with its skills, but most of the skills are geared towards melee fighting.

Use Unleash Zeal

Unleash Zeal's main benefit is the increase in attack and defense. Use the skill to become more aggressive after a combo.

Blasphemer is a damage role, not a tank role

While Blasphemer's skills are built around draining HP, that does not mean it is built as a frontliner. The Blasphemer relies on dodging and draining to survive, but it lacks the defense and natural HP bulk to take more hits than it can. Retreat when you have to, but do not be afraid to engage again later.
