Introduction
Seer is a unique class that has two distinct roles in Mistfall Hunter. Depending on its Oath, the Seer can either be Reverent or Blasphemer.
Reverent Seers focus on healing and can play a more supportive role for teams. Blasphemer Seers, meanwhile, are more offensive roles that excel at taking down health and restoring their own.
Whether you wish to play support for teams, be a damage dealer, or something similar, this guide will showcase some of the most distinct builds for the Seer Class.
Skill List & Talent Priority
The Seer's skills are split into two paths. Skills from the Reverent path cannot be used with Blasphemer and vice versa. Before a match begins, players must choose whether to pledge an oath or break it. Pledging will select the Reverent Seer, while breaking the oath will select the Blasphemer Seer.
Talents are upgrades that enhance your class's skills and combat abilities. As you level up, you earn Talent Points to customize your playstyle with upgrades that affect your overall performance or specific weapon mechanics.
Talents can include branching paths and independent upgrades. Branching paths require unlocking talents in sequence and eventually force you to choose between mutually exclusive upgrades, while independent talent groups allow you to freely invest Talent Points without additional prerequisites.
For the Seer, talents from both the Reverent and Blasphemer Path are available to you. However, this means that you can only commit to one path if you want to optimize your build.
Reverent skills are focused on sustaining health and using Rune Constructs to provide support or deal damage. Depending on your build, the Reverent can become the team's main healer or a good enough damage dealer.
| Skill | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic Skills | |
| Psionic Orb | Press to fire a psionic orb. Both firing and hitting with psionic orbs accelerate Psionic Energy recharge. Hold to chant and consume 1 Psionic Energy to fire an enhanced orb. Enhanced orbs have a higher Damage Multiplier, greater Impact, longer Effective Range and Maximum Range. |
| Rune Summon | Consumes Psionic Energy to summon the currently selected rune at the target location. |
| Rune Pillars | |
| Punishment Rune | Hold to chant, then summon a Punishment Rune at the target location, continuously dealing Magic Damage to the enemy with the lowest Health within range. The Punishment Rune prioritizes attacking enemy players and deals more Magic Damage to them. Punishment Rune is a Construct, more durable in trio mode. |
| Healing Rune | Hold to chant, then summon a Healing Rune at the target location, recovering Health for all allies within range for a period of time. Limited uses per match, with more uses available in trio mode. Healing Rune is a Construct, more durable in trio mode. |
| Shelter Rune | Hold to chant, then summon a Shelter Rune at the target location, providing a shield to all allies within range. For a period of time, the rune also provides a shield at a fixed rate to the ally with the lowest Health within range. Shield value scales with Attack. Shelter Rune is a Construct, more durable in trio mode. |
| Stealth Rune | Hold to aim and summon a Stealth Rune at the target location, granting Stealth to all allies within range. This Stealth state remains active even when taking damage. Stealth Rune is a Construct, more durable in trio mode. |
| Burst Rune | Hold to chant, then call down a runic impact on the target area, dealing Magic Damage to all enemies within range and recovering Psionic Energy based on the number of enemies hit. The Burst Rune leaves rune energy on the ground for a period of time. Enemies who come into contact with the rune energy will be marked by the rune. After a delay, the mark will explode, dealing Magic Damage and inflicting stagger. Magic orbs passing through the Reverent's Burst Rune carry its energy, marking enemies they hit. Burst Rune is a Construct. |
| Binding Rune | Hold to aim and summon a Binding Rune at the target location. After a short delay, it establishes connections with all enemies within range. Enemies connected by the Binding Rune are immobilized and cannot jump for a period when breaking free and leaving the area. Each successful binding of a player restores Psionic Energy to the Reverent. Binding Rune is a Construct. |
| Intimidation Rune | After using the skill, immediately summon an Intimidation Rune nearby, dealing Magic Damage to all enemies in the area and knocking them back. When the Intimidation Rune is shattered, it deals Magic Damage again to all enemies in the area and knocks them back. Intimidation Rune is a Construct. Summoning Intimidation Runes does not consume Psionic Energy. |
| Windwalker Rune | Hold to chant, then summon a Windwalker Rune at the target location, increasing dodge distance for all allies within range while reducing enemies' dodge distance. Windwalker Rune is a Construct, more durable in trio mode. |
| Divine Arts | |
| Healing Art | Hold to perform Area Targeting, restoring Health to selected units. Healing Art cannot be used on downed targets and has limited uses per match, with more uses available in trio mode. Cannot be used with Psionic Shield |
| Psionic Shield | Hold to chant and enable Area Targeting. After chanting ends, provide a shield to selected units. Shield value scales with Attack. Psionic Shield cannot be used on downed targets and can store multiple charges. Cannot be used with Healing Art |
| Wind Surge | After using the skill, launch a high-pressure cyclone toward the crosshair direction, dealing Magic Damage and knocking back all enemies within range. |
| Death Ward | Hold to perform Area Targeting and provide powerful buffs to selected units, granting them Super Armor and preventing death for a period of time. Death Ward cannot be used on downed targets. |
| Blinding Rune | Hold to aim and summon a Blinding Rune at the target location. After a short delay, all enemies facing the rune within range have their vision obstructed. The farther enemies are from the Blinding Rune, the shorter the vision obstruction lasts. |
Reverent Talents
| Talent | Effect |
|---|---|
| Path: Reshape | |
| Reshape ↓ | If a Shield applied by a Reverent remains undamaged for a period of time, it automatically recovers Shield value. The recovery speed scales with Attack. |

Recommended Build
Supportive Reverent
Overview
Seers is the only class that has a dedicated skill set for healing. As a Reverent, the class becomes a mainstay for many trios. This playstyle is focused on healing and supporting teammates, alongside dealing damage.
Recommended Skills
| Recommended Skills for Supportive Reverent Build |
|---|
| Healing Art |
| Binding Rune |
| Intimidation Rune or Windwalker Rune |
- Healing Art is one of the main ways the Reverent heals their team. While it only has limited uses per match, some talents boost the skill's healing. Wind Surge is often seen as the signature companion to Healing Art as it keeps foes away from you.
- Binding Rune is useful in PVP scenarios as it limits mobility to players, including their dodge. This helps with teams with crowd control or against teams with melee classes.
- Your final skill will depend on your team. Intimidation Rune if your team needs knockback or damage. Windwalker Rune if the team wants to improve their dodging. Alternatively, Healing Rune can also be chosen for more healing options.
Recommended Talent Progression
| Point | Talent | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Potent Wounding | As healing is already covered, focus on doing some damage with the Psionic Orb |
| 2 | Enhanced Tracking | Adds further buffs to the Psionic Orb |
| 3 | Oppurtunist Strike | Enhances the Wind Surge, the stun the talent provides also makes it easy to target enemies |
| 4 | Deep Healing | Enhances Healing Art |
| 5 | Purify | Healing Art also removes debuffs on target |
| 6 | Rigidity | If enemies get out of Binding Rune's range, this will ensure they will be stunned |
| 7 | Miraculous Healing | Improves all forms of healing |
| 8 | Sustain | Enhanced Psionic Orb also recovers Psionic Energy if a critical hit lands |
Recommended Equipment Affixes
Prioritize Equipment that can improve your chanting speed, cooldown time, healing, and construct duration:
- Eloquence
- Seamless
- Valor
- Creation
Playstyle
A Supportive Reverent stays in the backlines as much as possible to help the team as they do most of the damage. The main source of healing is Healing Art, but since it has limited uses per match, the team will also need good damage to stay alive.
Start the fight with Binding Rune to trap enemies together. Even if they run, Rigidity will stun them the moment they try to leave. You can adjust the Rune's location with Rune Summon. Follow up with your other Rune skills to maximize support or damage.
If an enemy gets close, use Wind Surge to keep them away, which will also stun them if Opportunistic Strike was chosen. Use Psionic Orb to damage your enemies when you can or to pick off any stragglers. Count how many orbs you fire and use the assigned button on your third orb to fire an enhanced orb that is faster thanks to Enhanced Tracking.
Do not forget to heal your teammates when needed with Healing Arts. Since it has limited uses, always use it at the most important times. It would be better to support your teammates with your other runes in the meantime. Sustain will see to it that you will at least have Psionic Energy to cast more runes.
Zealous Blasphemer
Overview
Blasphemer Seer is a straightforward and easy-to-understand class. Foregoing healing support with damage-dealing potential, Blasphemer is good for solo plays as it can sustain itself and deal as much damage as it can heal.
Recommended Skills
| Recommended Skills for Supportive Reverent Build |
|---|
| Paralysis Curse |
| Impact Sigil |
| Rune: Drain |
| Rune: Stun |
- Paralysis Curse is a ranged spell that can be used four times to limit enemy movement and stun them on the fourth use. Useful for either stopping them from running away or stopping them so you can run away.
- Impact Sigil is Paralysis Curse's best friend. Its ability to bring enemies to you makes it a good follow-up to the skill and plays into the Blasphemer's playstyle.
- Rune: Drain is the Blasphemer's main way to heal itself. Its talent tree makes it even more dangerous and is the Blasphemer's second most useful skill.
- Rune: Stun not only stuns enemies on hit, but also dashes you towards them. If Impact Sigil is unavailable, this is a good skill to fall back to.
- Feel free to pick any of the remaining Rune Enchantment skills to whatever skill is to your liking.
Recommended Talent Progression
| Point | Talent | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ferocity | Grants a Super Armor: A buff that prevents enemies from flinching you with attacks when using Zeal. Allows you to stay alive longer to use Zeal. |
| 2 | Relentless | Allows Mace attacks to extend Zeal |
| 3 | Divine Power | Grants Curse Mana when attacking while Zeal is active |
| 4 | Mastery | Impact Sigil now restores Curse Mana when hitting enemies. Restoring Curse Mana is always good to take first |
| 5 | Internal Energy | Impact Sigil will also reduce enemy healing and movement speed making it a useful support skill. |
| 6 | Extract | Restores Curse Mana when using Paralysis Curse. Since Paralysis Curse hits four times, you can restore a good amount of Curse Mana with this. |
| 7 | Electrocution | Allows you to move while casting Paralysis Curse |
| 8 | Emergency Aid | Restores Curse Mana after Breakaway |
Recommended Equipment Affixes
Blasphemer Seers focus on getting close to the enemy as much as possible. Prioritize Equipment that improves your defense, healing, and attack. Taking a Blessing will also extend the duration of Zeal.
- Stoic
- Tenacious
- Fervor
- Blessing
Playstyle
Fighting close and personal is the way to go with a Blasphemer. The Blasphemer's main skill, and its most useful, is Unleash Zeal, which this build is centered on.
Start the fight with Paralysis Curse on any enemy you wish. Use it all four times if you wish, but it is best to save the remaining charges. Electrocution will ensure you can reposition yourself to avoid getting ganged up. Afterwards, drag enemies to you with Impact Sigil or get closer with Rune: Stun.
After closing the distance, use Unleash Zeal to enter a stronger state. This pairs well with Rune: Drain as any Mace attacks extend the duration of Zeal thanks to Relentless. Go all out when under Zeal, as you are granted Super Armor while in that state too.
When low on Curse Mana, either use Paralysis Curse or attack with Zeal to restore it. Loop around paralyzing, getting close, and then using Zeal to tear down enemies.
Which Build Should You Choose?
| Build | Best For | Difficulty | Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supportive Reverent | Trios who need a support | Medium | Support and Healing |
| Zealous Blasphemer | Solo players | Easy | One-on-One Damage |
Solo Player Tips
Reverent Seers are not that viable for solo games, especially with a build focused on support. It is not impossible, however, if other offensive spells are invested in.
Blasphemer path is the way to go if you are playing Seer in solo. Damage is much better with the Blasphemer, and it is an easy-to-understand role. Just remember that the Blasphemer is not a tank role, so do not engage with too many enemies.
Always use your dodge when you can and play smart—advice good for both paths of the Seer.
Trio Player Tips
Trio games are where the Reverent path shines. It offers plenty of ways to heal when needed, and its ability to limit dodging makes it invaluable in PVP games. Always communicate with teammates about where you will place your runes or when you use your Divine Arts so that they can be in range to reap the benefits.
Blasphemers make alright teammates in trio teams. They do not have as much support capability as the Reverent path, but the damage they can deal makes up for it. Spells like Thorn Sigil and Paralysis Curse are also good support skills. Equip those skills if you plan to use Blasphemer in teams.
Best Class Synergies
Reverent Seers are best played with teams that are well spread between defense and offense. Their best teams are the Withered Knight and the Sorcerer. As a tank, the Withered Knight relies on the Seer to provide healing to stay alive. The Sorcerer benefits from the Reverent's Binding Rune to keep enemies around for their AOE spells. A Mercenary is another good role to use with a Seer.
Blasphemer Seers, meanwhile, are a damage role, so they will rely on teams with support and defense. A Mercenary and a Withered Knight are good teammates to help protect the Blasphemer. Ironically, a Reverent Seer is a great teammate for the Blasphemer, as they do need the support the path provides.
