Glut NPC Location Guide

Glut is a lost member of the Great Yonder Gang that you bring back to his leader. He has no additional requests for you. His fate will depend on what you choose to tell the Madam of Snowfall palace.

The Walkthrough may contain story spoilers.

1. 1. You may initially meet Glut at the Cloudspire Bazaar. He will not be willing to talk to you unless you have joined the Great Yonder Gang first.
   
   
2. 2. Join the Great Yonder gang by talking to Shen Jing'an.
   
   
3. 3. Talk to Shen Yanping and he will request that you find his Madam's Wedding Attire.
   
   
4. 4. Ask Shen Jing'an about the Wedding Attire. She will admit that she has it but will exchange it for looking for her missing comrade Glut.
   
   
5. 5. Go to Cloudspire Bazaar where Glut is and tell him you have joined the Gang. He will ask if he should search for his boss (Shen Jing'an) or his master.
   
   SPOILER!
   
   If you tell him to search for his master, Glut will give you the Great Yonder Fox Cap then leave. This will end his questline. Later on in the shaft, you will find his token. He had been sacrificed by his master at an altar.
   
   If you tell him to search for Shen Jing'an, he will go to the house where the rest of his members are.
   
   
6. 6. Interact with Glut to receive 3 Steamed Bunny Buns.
   
   
7. 7. Once you get the Wedding Attire from Shen Jing'an, return to Shen Yanping. He will reward you and tell you to present the item to his Madam.
   
   
8. 8. When you go report to Huang Yan (DO NOT go and fight the boss Mistress of the Night yet),
   
   SPOILER!
   
   If you choose "Tell her of the Butler's betrayal.", that will end the questline. Huang Yan will have both the butler and the gang members killed. You can return to the house where they are and obtain the Butler Shen's Set armor, Glut's Token, and Matchstick's Token.
   
   If you choose "Feign Ignorance", the Gang will survive.
   
   
9. 9. When at the Refugee Camp, talk to Glut, he will tell you he's starving. Talk to Shen Jing'an, and she informs you that her father is heavily sick. Agree to help her, else end the questline.
   
   
10. 10. After defeating Liu Wenxiu, you will obtain the True Origin Pill. Give this to Shen Jing'an to heal her father.
    
    
11. 11. After entering the dream once, interact with Shen Jing'an again and she will tell you that her father has recovered.
    
    
12. 12. Once you have defeated Zhang Xianzhong, you can go over to Ferry Overlook and find Shen Jing'an looking for Glut and Matchstick.
    
    
13. 13. Go to this area in the Avian Marsh. Defeat the enemy there and you will obtain Glut's Token and Matchstick's Token. This implies that while going through this area, they were killed.
    
    
14. 14. Give the tokens to Shen Jing'an and say goodbye to her and her father.
