Only take on a boss when your build can handle it, and you're confident you can still extract afterward. Winning a tough boss fight only to get caught out in the open right after is one of the most common ways to lose a big haul.

Read enemy attack patterns before performing a combo, since overcommitting against a monster with a delayed attack can cost you a sizable chunk of health, or worse!
