Mistfall Hunter Game Overview

Mistfall Hunter.png

Mistfall Hunter is a third-person extraction ARPG with PvPvE combat. That means you're fighting monsters and other players at the same time!

Each run drops you into a mist-covered zone. From there it's on you to scavenge gear, loot items, fight your way through whatever's guarding it, and reach an extraction point before something kills you first.

What Is the Lore of Mistfall Hunter?

The gods are dead. A war between the Gods and the Outer Gods wiped them out. Their spilled blood created the Gyldenmist, a spreading corruption that's slowly driving the world mad.

Civilization mostly didn't survive that. What did survive is a fragment of the Fate Goddess, now walking the ruins in the form of a girl named Dew. She raises fallen warriors back up to fight for her, and you're one of them. Your job is simple: head into the mist, harvest a resource called Gyldenblood, and help mend the broken Web of Fate.

Game Exploration

The ruins you're exploring are full of Gyldenblood and rare relics, but they're guarded. You'll run into regular corrupted enemies called the Corroded, and occasionally something much scarier called a Mist Lord.

Beating these enemies is one path to loot. Ambushing other Gyldhunters and taking what they're carrying is the other, faster but a lot riskier.

Combat in Mistfall Hunter

Combat is third-person and pretty fast-paced. As a Gyldhunter, you'll be chaining combos together and switching weapons mid-fight depending on what you're up against.

There's also a free-aim system, so you can actually target an enemy's weak points instead of just locking on and mashing attack. There are also tactical items you can use to control fights, so a lot of your survival comes down to reading the situation fast and reacting well.

Classes and Builds

There are six classes to choose from, and each one comes with two different weapon stances you can swap between mid-battle. That alone gives you a lot of flexibility without switching characters.

On top of that, there are talent trees, gem affixes, and a big pool of active skills, so you can build your class around whatever playstyle you like. Want to go full aggression, kite everything, lock enemies down with crowd control, or turtle up and outlast people? All of that is viable, it just depends on how you build.
