Legends speaks of an ancient religion called the Umbrella Cult. Some say they gave life to this planet, others say they killed it. Even more outlandish claims suggest that J-Lab is backed by the Umbrella Cult, which provided them with various scientific technologies but never revealed how to leave this planet. The Umbrella Cult has never shown itself publicly, yet it's deeply connected to everything in this world.
